The BirchBark Foundation provides financial assistance to families who need help paying for life-saving care for their pets, as well as providing pet loss counseling.
The BirchBark Foundation has been providing life-saving care to many animals by working with local veterinarians to reduce and cover the costs of essential and emergency medical treatment. With a vision that no family should lose a pet due to financial hardship, this organization has been helping families for 10 years.
In cooperation with veterinary partners that extend a 25% discount, BirchBark then pays up to 50% of care. This leaves the family with just 25% of the costs, helping them provide the care their beloved dog needs.
BirchBark also provides pet loss counseling, through either one-on-one private phone call sessions or group Zoom sessions.
Lastly, BirchBark has a program called Rocky’s Fund. Through this, pets receive regular vet care like wellness exams and vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter surgery. This prevents many medical crisis, saving money for everyone.
