VOLUNTEER DONATE

The Junior League of San Jose is a women’s volunteer organization. Members improve the community through charitable and educational events.

Since 1967, the Junior League of San Jose has played an integral role in Santa Clara County. The League has more than 600 members and has partnered with many nonprofit organizations to support the community.

Girls in foster care are a particular focus for the Junior League. Fewer than half of foster children complete high school, and transitional-age foster girls and women are six times more likely to be pregnant by age 21. The League awards grants to foster-care organizations and seeks to make a difference by helping girls develop personal and professional skills.
