O’Neill Sea Odyssey offers a hands-on science program about the ocean to kids in grades 4-6.

Founded in 1996 by wetsuit innovator and surfer Jack O’Neill, the program is a living classroom on board a 65-foot catamaran sailing the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary where students from schools throughout Central California learn about marine habitats. After the catamaran session, students receive follow-up lessons in theEducation Center at the Santa Cruz Harbor.
