Yolo County Republicans

Yolo County Republicans exist to promote the Republican Party locally and nationally. They support Republican candidates and causes in Davis, Woodland, West Sacramento, Winters, Clarksburg, the Capay Valley, and throughout Yolo County.

Yolo County Republicans work as advocates for the Republican Party both locally and nationally. They work to educate Yolo County residents on the current issues, promote candidates that are running for office, and to keep the party’s goals and intents in the forefront of minds come every election cycle. The group is facilitated by the Yolo County Republican Central Committee, and all Republicans residing within county lines can get involved.

With its headquarters in Woodland, volunteers can make phone calls, work tables, fundraise for a candidate, and go door-to-door to help drum up votes. There are also a few committees to join. According to their website, the Republican Party, “believes in limited government, personal liberty, a strong national defense, a world-class education system, and energy independence, among other things. We believe each individual American, not their government, knows what is best for them and should have the freedom and ability to make their own choices.”
