The Yolo County master gardeners will be at the Yolo County Fair to answer gardeners' questions. They will be on duty Aug. 14 from 6-9 p.m.; Aug. 15 from noon to 6 p.m., Aug. 16-17 from noon to 9 p.m., and Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The fair officially opens 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14; closing 10:30 p.m. Fair hours Aug. 15-17 are noon to midnight; Aug. 18 is 11 a.m. to midnight. Admission is free, but special events require purchased tickets.
