The El Dorado County master gardeners' Sherwood Demonstration Garden offers the public a hands-on, interactive experience about research-based, sustainable gardening practices specific to the west slope of El Dorado County. 9 a.m. to noon, every Friday and Saturday through Oct. 26.
On Sept. 14 at 9 a.m., the master gardeners will present "Bringing Birds to Your Garden," a free 3-hour workshop at the garden site. Registration requested but not required.
