EVENT:   Open Garden at Sherwood Demonstration Garden

The El Dorado County master gardeners' Sherwood Demonstration Garden offers the public a hands-on, interactive experience about research-based, sustainable gardening practices specific to the west slope of El Dorado County, appropriate for all ages and cultures. 16 individual demonstrations gardens range from the Shade Garden to the Rock Garden.
9 a.m. to noon. Today, Oct. 25, is the last Open Garden of the season. Garden will be closed if forecast of rain is 60% or higher from 9 a.m. - noon, or air quality index reaches 150 or unhealthy levels. No dogs allowed.
