Participate in National Seed Swap Day on Jan. 25 at the Loomis Veterans Hall from 9 a.m. to noon. The seed swap is a fundamental part of human history. Modern gardeners collect and exchange seeds for many reasons ranging from cultivating rare, heirloom varieties to basic thrift. Bring labeled seeds to share and take seeds others have brought to share. Free and registration not required. Sponsored by the Placer County master gardeners.
