The annual Strawberry Festival has a new home this year at the Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 10-11. Strawberry pancake breakfast both days 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Event features food vendors, strawberry shortcake eating contest, games, rides, shopping, live music and more. $14 general admission (ages 14-59), $7 kids 6-13; $7 seniors (60+), children under 5 free; special free admission for various groups -- see website for details. $10 parking.
