The Siakumne Tribe, in partnership with 4 Elements Earth Education, invites the public to gather at the active native village they have built, with traditional bark houses, sweat houses, dance grounds and outdoor kitchen to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Indigenous Peoples Days.

El Dorado County Older Adult Day Services operates two adult day centers.
These centers provide activities for body, mind and spirit, helping adults remain active and involved. The centers offer supportive services, resources, education, and respite care for family members who are taking care of those with dementia and other chronic health issues.
