Born and raised in El Dorado County, George Turnboo says his ancestors moved to the area in the 1840s. A supporter of law enforcement for community protection, he believes in managing growth through infrastructure and services. He is quoted as wanting to bring small manufacturers and logging back to El Dorado County. Other priorities include building a cogeneration power plant and a 12-step program to put the homeless back to work.

Day job: Owns George’s Pit Stop in El Dorado and is the pastor of the El Dorado Community Church.
