VOLUNTEER DONATE

Rancho Cielo was created by Superior Court Judge John M. Phillips, who wanted to find an alternative to the cycle of crime and jail he saw happening to at-risk Salinas youth on a daily basis.

Today, Rancho Cielo sits on the 100-acres former site of the Natividad Boys’ Ranch. Along with diploma education, counseling, and life skills development, young people learn to build tiny homes to be donated to the homeless, develop skills for the culinary and hospitality industry at the Drummond Culinary Academy, and get on-the-job training in landscaping and maintenance.
