District 1

Angela M. Untalon was reelected to the City of Greenfield Council in November 2022 from an at-large seat, with her new four-year term running from December 1, 2022.

Untalon has long been a supporter of the city's growth. According to Monterey County Weekly coverage, in 2018 Angela Untalon ran as a candidate who says yes to growth in Greenfield—both more retail and more affordable housing.  Another issue supported by Untalon—as well as her colleagues—was the creation of a Youth Council in October 2020. “Getting to know who our future leaders are going to be excites me,” Untalon was quoted in the Salinas Valley Tribune. “We’re being positive influences in their lives.”

On May 23, 2023, Councilmember Angela Untalon notified the City Clerk that she would resign her District 1 seat upon appointment of a successor. On July 18, Untalon resigned after Luis Dominguez was appointed to serve out her term.
