First elected to the City Council in 2008, Scott Funk is currently serving his fourth term. According to his LinkedIn page, Funk works as the ag business affairs manager at Dole Fresh Vegetables. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Phoenix and a master’s in accounting from Kaplan University. He’s served for more than a decade on both the Budget Advisory Committee for the Gonzales Unified School District and the Citizens Advisory Committee to the General Plan for the City of Gonzales.
