A native Nevada County resident, Tom Ivy graduated from Nevada Union High School before earning his bachelor’s degree in environmental studies with a focus on agriculture from UC Santa Cruz. His public service includes being appointed to the Grass Valley Planning Commission in 2018.

Day job: Tom Ivy works in his family’s plumbing business.
