A crowd of about 150 attended the inaugural Placer County Juneteenth Celebration and Picnic Saturday at Johnson Springview Park in Rocklin. Friends and neighbors braved the morning heat to commemorate the anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation ending slavery in 1865.
