Tahoe City Public Utility District (TCPUD) is continuing its long-term investment in drinking water reliability and fire suppression improvements with construction of Phase Three of the Madden Creek Water System Reconstruction Project. Construction is scheduled to begin in late April and will continue through Fall 2025.
The Tahoe City Public Utility District Board of Directors provided an update on the Scotty Lapp memorial skate park at their meeting on Friday, Feb. 21, where numerous individuals expressed concerns over its proposed location.
The Tahoe City Public Utility District (TCPUD) Board of Directors recently approved the expansion of its Water Rate Assistance Program. The expanded program is intended to provide water rate assistance to more TCPUD water customers, with discounts of up to 50%.
The Tahoe City Public Utility District will conduct a consolidated general election with both Placer County and El Dorado County Elections Departments on November 5, 2024. Three board member seats will be up for election.
At a joint North Tahoe Public Utility District and Tahoe City Public Utility District meeting, both boards gave a green light to continue to discuss putting a tax measure to fund a North Lake Tahoe Recreation and Aquatics Center on the ballot at the earliest in 2026.
