In 2013, Christina Wynn was serving in the Assessor’s Office as the chief appraiser of the Assessment & Technical Services Division before she was appointed by Assessor Kathleen Kelleher to the position of assistant assessor. After Kelleher left in 2017, Wynn was appointed assessor by a unanimous vote of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. Wynn then successfully ran for the office in 2018. She also gained experience with appraisal and property tax administration with the assessor’s offices in Sacramento and Placer counties. Wynn won a new term outright in the primary election on Jun 7, 2022.
