City of Elk Grove City Council Councilmembers Pat Hume

Pat Hume is not only a native Californian, his family has resided in Elk Grove since the 1940s. Having been born and raised in Elk Grove, he brings a true native’s perspective to his position as a councilmember. Hume served on the Elk Grove Planning Commission as the city was incorporated and remained in the position until 2006. He was then elected to the City Council that same year.

Hume is an active volunteer in the community, and can often be found serving as an emcee and auctioneer at local events. He is married and enjoys outdoor activities.
