Rod Brewer comes to the Elk Grove City Council with a wealth of experience. He has worked as a government relations adviser in Southern California and as a high-level staffer for the U.S. House of Representatives and the California State Legislature. He knows his way around local government, and how to communicate well with people on both the inside and outside of this infrastructure. In the community, he helped bring back the All-American Soap Box Derby in Elk Grove, and has also served on the board of the Elk Grove Food Bank and the Human Rights/Fair Housing Commision advisory board. He has owned a home in Elk Grove for 25 years, and is a California native.
