The Arroyo Grande Planning Commission is one of several advisory bodies that provide citizen input to the City Council. The Planning Commission is responsible for advising the council and the Community Development Department on all matters pertaining to the growth and development of the city. The commission provides annual reports to the council on the status of the General Plan, and reviews and approves items as set forth in the Development Code.
The Planning Commission meets twice a month, with special meetings called as needed. Meetings are open to the public and are televised live on Arroyo Grande’s government access channel 20. They can also be viewed online on SLO SPAN. Find the current agenda online.
Meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the City Council Chambers, 215 E Branch St, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420.
