Home First provides housing opportunities to anyone who is homeless or at risk of losing a home in Santa Clara County. The group has offered more than 5,000 individuals a place to stay.

Home First helps people find a place to stay and meet their basic needs. Its mission is to “confront homelessness by cultivating people’s potential to get housed and stay housed.” The group searches for housing to benefit residents who are struggling under the burden of high rents.

Serving the community for 40 years now, Home First not only provides a safe environment for individuals, it also provides programs and media coverage to promote housing plans within Santa Clara County. The group operates shelters that include family living centers and supports foster youths in the community.
