Silicon Valley Education Foundation’s mission is to guide students to a successful and productive future. The group delivers and advocates for STEM education in public schools.
The foundation aims to empower students, striving to improve their access to education and offering STEM courses along with leadership experiences. One of its programs, the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute, provides multi-year to year-round academic support for middle and high school students.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Silicon Valley Education Foundation is holding online classes and workshops. Knowing that 10 percent of San Jose families lack home internet access, SVEF has been distributing newly printed STEM materials to school meal pick-up sites around Santa Clara County.
