The City of Gilroy held its third public hearing on district based elections on April 7, where the city council reviewed and discussed draft maps submitted by the public more than a week earlier.
The Gilroy City Council will transition to district elections after receiving a demand letter under the California Voting Rights Act.
Residents are invited to share their input and seek information at a series of upcoming workshops on the City of Gilroy’s Civic Center Mater Plan project.
