City of Monte Sereno Better Streets Commission

The Better Streets Commission consists of five appointed residents who each serve a staggered two-year term. The commission advises the City Manager on the design, operations, and maintenance of the Monte Sereno street system, including pedestrians, bicyclists, mass transit, traffic controls, lighting, vehicular circulation and parking. The Commission shall identify and advise on street rehabilitation solutions that address multiple demands, such as underground utilities, street trees, storm water management and contamination runoff issues. The City Manager may refer any recommendation from the commission to the City Council for direction.
