The local Santa Cruz County Democratic Central Committee is the local governing body of the California Democratic Party.
Membership consists of local Democrats committed to supporting Democratic ideals, issues, and candidates on local, state and national levels. At the core of the group is the Central Committee, which fulfills the requirement of California state law for each political party to have a central committee in every county. Committee members are elected for four-year terms by voters in each of the five supervisorial districts.
