VOLUNTEER DONATE

The 4-H Clubs of Santa Cruz County teach children important lessons about farming and gardening while helping them to develop friendships.

4-H is a nationwide organization for a reason—its programs provide children with opportunities for friendship, personal growth, and hands-on life skills. 4-H has touched generations of children, and Santa Cruz County is fortunate enough to be home to several 4-H clubs.

Santa Cruz County has 4-H Clubs in these locations:

Ag History 4-H Club (based in Watsonville)

Aptos 4-H Club

Corralitos 4-H Club

Quail Creek 4-H Club (based in Boulder Creek/San Lorenzo Valley)

Redwood Valley 4-H Club (based in Scotts Valley/San Lorenzo Valley)

Soquel 4-H Club

All of these clubs offer children ages 5-19 the opportunity to complete various projects related to agriculture. From raising little calves to learning how to run and manage an entire farm, the opportunities are endless for these young people looking to get involved. 4-H members travel to both local and state events, are challenged in various outdoor and agricultural disciplines, and develop into strong leaders.
