Friends of the Davis Public Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting Davis libraries by raising and donating funds to support programming for all ages, supplement materials collection, provide mending services for Library materials, and promote the Library as a cultural and community center for all in Davis.
The Friends receive thousands of books each month that are donated by the community. Logos Books is one of the ways the Friends sell them to benefit the Library. Logos Books is locatied in downtown Davis, is open six days a week and has a store inventory that changes constantly. The store is operated by volunteers who cashier, curate specific book sections, or set up window displays.

On Saturday, it’s a teen Magic the Gathering club. Days later, a Spanish conversation group. Free after-school homework help, makerspace drop-in hours, and a book repair cafe round out the weekly schedule, seamlessly blending community with functionality, creating one of the few spaces in today’s world where spending money is not an expectation upon entry.
