Councilmember Verna Sulpizio Hull specializes in marketing and management, programming, and economic development. Some of Hull’s career experiences include working as the president and CEO of the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, marketing and recruiting coordinator for Cunningham Engineering Corporation, and project manager for Civitas. Hull is active in the community. She emcees the EMERGE Summit, one of the largest events for young professionals on the West Coast. She was also a keynote speaker for BOLD, a speaker series highlighting women’s stories. Hull currently works as a consultant.

On April 17, the City of West Sacramento celebrated the groundbreaking of the highly anticipated Westacre Park Renovation and Expansion Project.
