Groundswell Coastal Ecology states its mission simply: “We make better places for nature and people.”
To accomplish this goal, Groundswell engages with a wide swath of the local community, partnering with land managers, agencies, stakeholder groups, and members of the public. It’s an inclusive approach that highlights the organization’s core belief that community engagement is key to any lasting change. Its teams guide teachers and students through hands-on learning and also mentor corporate teams. Support comes from public agencies, foundations, businesses, and private donors.
