United Way California Capital Region believes in creating strong, healthy, and compassionate communities beginning at square one. United Way works to meet needs wherever it can, partnering with families to help them reach their personal and financial goals and be healthy and safe.
For almost 100 years, United Way has brought the capital region together to help move the community forward. This local chapter is working through a 20-year commitment to significantly help reduce poverty in the following counties: Amador, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo.

The California Capital Region Foundation invests and distributes funds solely for the benefit of the United Way California Capital Region. This foundation is led by a transparent board of trustees and coordinates with United Way at the national level as well as local.
