The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance and preparedness education. The Northern California Chapter is part of the ARC’s Gold County Region.

ARC volunteers attend local events, offering blood services and more. The training services division is responsible for providing health and safety training: lifeguarding, nurse assistant training, CPR classes, and more.
