California Forever is a corporation founded by Jan Sramek, with the aim of establishing a new community of up to 400,000 residents on 60,000 acres of recently and sometimes contentiously purchased land in Solano County, California.

Because land use development is constrained to land adjacent to existing communities by the Solano County General Plan, California Forever is sponsoring an initiative on the upcoming November 2024 county election ballot to amend the General Plan so development of the new community can move forward.

Use this Tracker to learn more about the California Forward project as it moves through the complex process of building a city from the ground up.
