The City of Sacramento’s Fire Department also serves Pacific/Fruitridge and Natomas with fire-fighting, medical emergencies, hazardous materials, technical and water rescues. The department maintains 24 fire stations, nine truck companies, 15 ambulances, a rescue company, three swift water rescue teams, and two hazmat response teams.
