The Youth Commission advises the City Council on matters relating to teen and youth issues, including recreation interests, personal concerns, and the need for outreach services. Commissioners work as a team with the recreation coordinator and staff to address issues relating to teens in the community; create a forum for public discussion of teen issues; and assist in the planning, promoting, and implementing of local programs and services.
Meetings are held in the Grant Park Community Center at 1575 Holt Ave on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 pm.
