The new Demonstration Garden of the Placer County master gardeners will be the site of a Spring Open House on Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.The Demonstration Garden opened earlier this spring on the grounds of the Loomis Library, 6050 Library Drive, Loomis. The garden, designed as an outdoor classroom, will be bursting with spring color, as well as activities for all ages and all levels of gardeners. Check out displays on irrigation, vermiculture and tool care. Live music, too. Free admission.
