Sacramento Valley Spark, inspired by the Ten Principles of Burning Man, unites the local community through art and positive change.
Sacramento Valley Spark was founded in 2012 after inspiration drawn from the massive annual Burning Man event compelled a group of local artists to start a program with similar vision and values right here in Sacramento. The group follows the 10 Principles, among them tadical inclusion, decommodification, radical self-reliance and civic responsibility.
As an organization, Sacramento Valley Spark also includes annual community projects focused on sustainability.
