Itsie Bitsie Rescue provides shelter, love, and time to develop for unweaned kittens and puppies until they are ready to be matched with forever homes.
Itsie Bitsie Rescue was founded by a mother-daughter duo after the daughter, Danielle, was completing community service hours for a middle school class requirement. After Danielle grew up and joined the National Guard, she worked around the corner from an animal shelter, where she continually brought home kittens to care for. Together with her mother, Pam, they incorporated as a nonprofit in 2012. They continue to care for approximately 70 kittens a year—and some puppies, too. Every single person at Itsie Bitsie Rescue is a volunteer—there is no paid staff.
