Aging Up’s mentor program empowers and serves youths who have experienced foster care and helps them transition into adulthood.
We empower youth with experience in foster care to successfully transition into adulthood.
1:1 mentoring for 13-22-year-old youth from foster care.
To serve 100 youth annually!
Aging UP was founded in May 2016 by child welfare, mentoring, and nonprofit professionals to address the unmet needs of local youth from foster care. Services officially began in 2018. While other nonprofits and programs in Sacramento serve youth in foster care, Aging UP’s model provides supports that complement and exceed what is currently available.
