Operated by the County of Sacramento, Bradshaw Animal Shelter is one of Northern California’s largest shelters.

Donations and volunteers are needed to protect the health of sheltered animals and increase their adoption prospects. Because of abuse, neglect, or abandonment, a significant number arrive at the shelter unaltered, sick or injured. The county has formed a program called TEAM (Teaching Everyone Animals Matter) to educate the public about how to prevent animal abuse.
