Cosumnes Community Services District Board of Directors Director Rod Brewer

Rod Brewer lives in the Hampton Village Neighborhood of Elk Grove and is active in the community. He has served on the Cosumnes CSD Board of Directors since 2010 and has been reelected to second and third terms in 2014 and 2018. Currently, he is a government relations advisor for Southern California Edison. Before working for Southern California Edison, Rod served over 15 years as a policy consultant and legislative aide to lawmakers in the California Legislature and the U.S. House of Representatives. 

In addition, Rod served as an advisory board member for Elk Grove on the Sacramento Regional Human Rights/Fair Housing Commission (2009-2013 and and on the Elk Grove Food Bank Services Board of Directors from 2009 through 2011. Rod, a Tulare native, holds a B.A. in political science/public service from the University of California, Davis.
