The Senior Advisory Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on matters affecting residents who are age 50 and older, including health, education, employment, housing, transportation and recreation. The Commission consists of seven volunteers who are appointed by the council.
Regular commission meetings take place at 10 a.m. every fourth Monday of each month. Meetings are online during COVID-19; otherwise, they are held at the Senior Center, 1303 Fremont St.
