The Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency is a state-chartered water management district formed to manage existing and supplemental water supplies in order to prevent further increase in long-term overdraft. PV Water also works to ensure sufficient water supplies for present and future anticipated needs in the greater coastal Pajaro Valley.

A new report prepared for Pajaro Valley water managers by the U.S. Geological Survey shows progress in the fight to save the valley’s water basin. The report shows that from 2015 to 2018 the land above the valley’s aquifer subsided only two inches, despite conditions of severe drought.
