The Personnel Commission consists of seven members who are appointed by the City Council. Commissioners act in an advisory role in matters regarding personnel administration. Other duties include recommending changes to personnel rules, conduct investigations regarding personnel, and hearing appeals pertaining to suspension, demotion, dismissal or disciplinary action.
