Explore the marked trails of Deer Creek Hills Preserve, Sloughhouse, at your own speed 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays in February through May and October through November. Hikers must pre-register and pre-pay the $10 registration fee per person. Register by 6 p.m. Friday to receive the pre-visit email. Late registrants will need to show their confirmation email at check-in.Liability waivers must be printed and completely filled out before arrival. No pets.3 trail options:--North Pond Loop — approximately 3 miles, mostly shaded. Can be started no later than 11:30 a.m.-- Two Ponds Loop — 4.5 miles, mostly in open skies. Can be started no later than 11 a.m.-- Barn Pond Loop — 6 miles, mixture of open skies and shaded woodland. Can be started no later than 10 a.m.Note: No running water on site. Arrive hydrated and bring plenty of drinking water. Porta-potties are available at the trailhead and serviced every Friday. Bring hand sanitizer. See additional information at website.
