The Murer House & Gardens in Folsom hosts Lavender Day on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free admission. Learn about cooking with lavender, enjoy lavender lemonade, and enter drawings for plants and lavender gifts. At 10 a.m., Tim Dick will talk about beekeeping. At 11:30 a.m., enjoy a talk by Greg Gayton of Green Acres and Christine Eschen of Tres Jolie Lavender Farm. The Murer House and museum also will be open for tours.
