Snowline Hospice provides quality end-of-life care and support to patients and their families in El Dorado, Placer and Sacramento counties.
Snowline Hospice was first established in 1979. It is a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides end-of-life care and supports for terminally ill patients and their families. The goal is to guide people through every phase of the process, including palliative care, spiritual care, and more.
A variety of professionals work and volunteer with Snowline, including doctors, nurses, social workers, spiritual care providers, hospice professionals and volunteers.
The care provided to patients and families is carried out by a Snowline interdisciplinary team of professionals that includes physicians, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, medical social workers, spiritual care providers, hospice aides and volunteers. They bring advanced educational backgrounds and a wealth of experience to each family they serve.
Snowline provides services to those on Medicare and Medi-Cal, as well as those who do not have insurance. Nobody ever receives a bill for Snowline’s services, and the costs are covered through the proceeds of the organization’s thrift stores, personal donations, and more.
This organization serves the western slope of El Dorado County and the Sacramento region including Sacramento, Folsom, Roseville, Granite Bay, Fair Oaks, Carmichael and Rancho Cordova.
