Auburn Interfaith Food Closet (AIFC) is offering its ninth annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive to the community.
When you shop at Auburn's Grocery Outlet or Save Mart through Nov. 22, a turkey can be purchased and the sponsoring store will keep the turkey for AIFC.
September is Hunger Action Month, a time when people across the country will be taking a stand against hunger.

The Auburn Interfaith Food Closet and UCCE Master Gardeners of Placer County have come together to develop a thriving community garden dedicated to growing vegetables and fruits for those in need in the greater Auburn area.
Since 1999, the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet (AIFC) has operated on a 100-percent volunteer basis, which allows the nonprofit to utilize over 90 percent of donated income for serving its clients.
