Red Hawk Resort Casino is serving up a feast of flavors this holiday season, with a lineup of decadent dining options for Thanksgiving this next week across all of its signature restaurants.
The Folsom Citizens Assisting Public Safety (CAPS), in partnership with the Folsom Police and Fire departments, are collecting holiday toys and gift items for Folsom families in need, for the annual Folsom CAPS Holiday Toy Drive, according to a news release from the City of Folsom.
Under skies sprinkling rain, the Folsom community came together Thursday afternoon to celebrate a special moment: the unveiling of the first art installation on the Johnny Cash Trail. The centerpiece of the event was Cash’s Pick No. 1, a 7-foot-tall bronze guitar pick created by artist Adan Romo of Sacramento-based Romo Studios. The sculpture stands at the trailhead near the Rainbow Bridge, symbolizing the start of a journey that celebrates the life, music, and legacy of Johnny Cash.
