The Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce provides assistance and support to Black-owned businesses in the Sacramento region.

Founded in 1984, the Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce (SBCC) was created to bring African American business professionals together to create a solid, equitable economy within Sacramento's business community.Today, SBCC is composed of business owners and professionals who represent the Black community in all areas of the economy. Members work togethers to be civically minded and forward-thinking when it comes to minority-owned business structures in Sacramento.

Members enjoy networking and business mixers, and SBCC also offers various programming throughout the year that differ from a typical chamber of commerce. Some of these opportunties most recently include the following:

  • COVID-19 small business resources
  • Youth leadership training
  • Parent advocacy
  • Job opportunities

One of the crowning achievements of SBCC is its Young Leadership Collaborative. For more than 13 years, it has prepared young adults ages 16-23 for entrepreneurship. Over 200 local high school and college students have graduated from this powerful program that has provided marketable job skills as they start their own careers.
